The car seat pad is removable for machine washing in the delicate cycle without bleach, and it drips dry. The metal and plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap and water and then wiped dry. To clean the buckle, use a damp cloth or sponge, but avoid using lubrication. The harness straps respond best to spot cleaning, and should never be immersed in water.
